A key theme to this year’s Enterprise Connect conference in Orlando was the focus on user-experience of Unified Communication and Collaboration.
This includes more intuitive interfaces, cloud capabilities and the use of familiar control systems.
Adrian Brookes, VP, Siemens Enterprise Communications, summed it up nicely when he said, “The focus is to remove the complexity, make it easy, and improve the user experience. If someone can’t pick up something intuitive and use it, it won’t fly.”
Video-conferencing and Telepresence equipment sales have grown at an annualised rate of 40%.

Vpod recently exhibited their immensely popular v3 product at the knowlist awards ceremony in London. The awards celebrate the achievements of the Legal IT fraternity and are an admired and respected tradition. The v3 was used for prize winners to deliver their acceptance speeches, as well as for allowing the guests to experience vpod at first hand.
